The development and dissemination of the New Model Course in Applied Quantum Physics is funded with assistance from the National Science Foundation and Department of Education Fund for Improvement of Post-Secondary Education. An integral part of the dissemination project is to have test sites modify the materials as needed to best match their test sites. These changes must be publicized and shared, and we ask our test sites to evaluate the effectiveness of their curriculum changes. Also, we ask that our test sites evaluate student learning in areas of quantum physics which were taught using the original materials.
For more information on the curriculum materials, please visit the New Model Course in Applied Quantum Physics. If you would like more information, please contact Michael Wittmann. The links below do not pertain to the research into student learning, and refer instead only to evaluation and research done using specific elements of the New Model Course in Applied Quantum Physics.
