Outreach Programs
Sharing our results with other researchers and educators is central to the mission of the UMaine PERL. We have given workshops in a variety of areas, have led discussion and seminar sessions at national meetings, and are strongly involved in the Center for Science and Mathematics Education Research. In addition, we have a Maine physics teachers conference every summer. If you would like to be involoved in any of these, please contact Michael Wittmann or John Thompson.

Maine High School Physics Teachers Meeting

Annual Summer Institute for High School Teachers of Physics

Workshops:
Quantum Physics Workshops
We have an active program of disseminating materials for the teaching of quantum physics. These materials and workshops have been run in conjunction with the University of Maryland and the City College of New York.
