Old Tandy portables reborn

Newton Usin'

This machine works for me, intuitively fitting in with its UI and applications. Not only do I use it as my much-more-portable- than-a-Tandy instant-on writing platform, but I now also use it to organize all the lists in my life. There's the usual date book and Names or Contacts manager (no more searching for my wife's address book), plus I can run a relational database on it, too. That lets me design my own data collections, which means I get project managers and all the other doodads I never knew I would need... And, if need be, I update my PIM files to Outlook without a hitch.

It simply fits into my life and takes over for a whole bunch of other paper and electronic tools that I used to use. And THAT is a compliment for a mobile computing platform.
