Music listening history (until ca. 1995)I consider my path to be totally normal for a 90's scenario: Eighties pop, early hard core, Neubauten industrial, Wax Trax industrial dance, all sorts of goth, free jazz, spiritual minimalism, modern composition, hints of grunge and alternarock, international elements and electronic eclecticism ... Read about it if you want to... WMEB Radio, "Das Internationale Elektron":I'm presently running a radio show on Thursday mornings, 10 AM to noon. The topic of the show is international eclecticism. I play every genre of music, as long as there are no English lyrics involved. That doesn't mean I'm not listening to English language music at home (Low, Radiohead, Strokes, Death Cab for Cutie, Bjork, Gillian Welch, etc.), it just means that I'm not playing it on the air. The name of the show comes from a song by the group Die Mäuse, and deals with the interchangeability of fermions - all music is equal, after all. WMUC Radio, "The Return Trip" (1993-2000): |
